		<description>Thank you for this enlightening and intriguing blog post.  I was referred to it by a friend and am now interested enough to purchase a book by Deci and Ryan.  As a long-time educator, I can attest to many of the ideas brought up by this theory.  You can lead some to education, but you can&#039;t make them think...or, at least, you can&#039;t make them think what you want!  This also dovetails in an interesting way with the work by Dr. Marvin Marshall, who has developed the Raise Responsibility system.  Choice and self-reflection are keys to helping others become more aware.</description>
